1. Who we are
JD Fashions Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us") operates the JD Fashions website and mobile application. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
2. Information we collect
- You give us: name, email address, phone number, delivery addresses, and order notes.
- Created by your use: order history, items in your cart and wishlist, product reviews, and support messages.
- Collected automatically: device and browser information, IP address, and pages viewed, used to keep the service secure and to improve it.
3. Payment information
Payments are processed by our payment gateway. Card numbers, CVV and UPI credentials are entered directly with them and never reach our servers. We retain only a payment reference, the amount, the method used, and the last four digits of a card where the gateway provides it.
4. How we use your information
- To process orders, take payment, arrange delivery and handle returns.
- To provide customer support and respond to your questions.
- To send order updates. Marketing messages are only sent where you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
- To detect and prevent fraud, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, with: sellers fulfilling your order (name, delivery address and phone), delivery partners, our payment gateway, and service providers who host or support the Platform. We also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
6. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Other account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
7. Your rights
You can access and correct most of your information from your account. You may also ask us to delete your account, or object to particular processing, by writing to us. We will respond within a reasonable period, subject to records we must keep by law.
8. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and understand how the Platform is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may stop working.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and other measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. Children
The Platform is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
